He said 'it's just a short hike'. That trail ended with a ring. This summer ends with a party.

Our Party

The party takes place at Smiltynės Yacht Club - a hidden gem just across the water from Klaipėda.

To get there, you'll need to take a ferry across. Two options: hop on the pedestrian ferry (old ferry terminal) and enjoy a 15 minute walk to the venue, or take the car ferry (new ferry terminal) and drive about 5 minutes once you're on the other side.

Pack a bag.

Party first, sleep after. Rooms sorted, breakfast included.

Check-in at 16:00, the party starts at 18:00, check-out next day at 12:00.

Dress Code: Dress, Suit and Sneakers.

KEEP IT COMFY (we mean it)!

Please RSVP by July 10! (Just search your first name to find your invite).

GETTING HERE

Klaipėda is on the western coast of Lithuania — beautiful, a little off the beaten path, and absolutely worth the journey (according to Ligita). Here's how to get here without losing your mind.

WHICH AIRPORT?

Lithuania has three international airports. Pick the one that works best for your route:

- Palanga (PLQ) is the obvious winner — it's just 30 km from Klaipėda. A bus gets you there in 40 minutes for a few euros, or a taxi (Bolt) in about half an hour. Flights are limited, but if you can land here, do it. Especially if you are coming just for our party and don't have time to explore the best country in the world (according to Bernardas).

- Vilnius (VNO) is the country's main hub with the most international connections — your best bet if you're flying in from further. From Vilnius, hop on a direct train or bus to Klaipėda (about 4 hours ride, train runs five times a day, busses are more frequent).

- Kaunas (KUN) is the budget airline favourite — great for Ryanair connections from across Europe. An Ollex express minivan runs directly to Klaipėda in under 3 hours.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Download Bolt — it's the local taxi app and works everywhere in Lithuania.

Renting a car is easy and a great way to explore. CityBee and Bolt offer hourly rentals with flexible pickup/drop-off between cities.

Things to Do

While You're Here — Make a Trip of It

Lithuania is small but genuinely lovely, and summer is the best (or only) time to visit. Here's how to make the most of a few extra days depending on how you're arriving and how much time you have.

If you have a week or more — do the full loop

Start in Vilnius. Fly in, slow down, spend two or three nights. The Old Town is a UNESCO-listed maze of Baroque architecture, hidden courtyards, and great places to eat and drink — and also a lovely area to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all. Wander into Užupis, a quirky artistic neighbourhood that once declared itself an independent republic (it has its own constitution, its own ambassador, and its own anthem — we are not making this up). For something more relaxed and contemporary, Paupys is a riverside area with excellent cafés and a great vibe. Both are also solid options for accommodation.

Before leaving Vilnius, make time for a day trip to Trakai — a 14th-century island castle sitting in the middle of a lake, about 30 minutes from the city. Rent a rowing boat, try kibinai (little stuffed pastries that are deeply underrated).

Then make your way to Klaipėda — train or bus, about 4 hours (or rent a car). If you can, arrive the day before the wedding. Our city is worth a few hours of your time. The Old Town is small but charming, and Klaipėda is famous for its outdoor sculpture hunt — there are hundreds of quirky iron sculptures hidden around the streets, and finding them is oddly addictive. We'll meet for some drinks on the evening of 21 August, so let us know if you are around.

After the party, head to Nida. We'll be there all week from the morning after — so if you fancy extending the party, you know where to find us.

Nida is a tiny village on the Curonian Spit — towering sand dunes, pine forests, the Baltic on one side and the lagoon on the other, and a quietness that makes you feel like the rest of the world has been switched off. It's one of the most special places in Lithuania and the perfect way to wind down after a wedding.

Keep in mind that accommodation in Nida in summer books up fast. Start looking now on Booking.com or Airbnb. If you're stuck, reach out — we're happy to help.

Short on time? Here's the simple version.

Flying into Palanga? You're already on the doorstep. Come a day early, explore Klaipėda, celebrate with us, then head to Nida — it's an hour away and absolutely worth a night or two. We'll be there too.

Flying into Vilnius? Spend your extra days in the capital — it deserves at least two nights — do the Trakai day trip, then make your way west for the party.

Either way, you're in for a good time. Lithuania has a habit of getting under your skin.

Feeling adventurous? Go off the beaten path.

If the standard itinerary feels too obvious, Lithuania has a few stranger, quieter corners worth seeking out. The Hill of Crosses near Šiauliai is unlike anything else in Europe — hundreds of thousands of crosses of every size stacked on a modest hill, left by pilgrims over centuries. It sounds odd on paper and is quietly overwhelming in person. The Rumšiškės Open-Air Museum is a sprawling outdoor village where entire farmsteads, windmills, and taverns from across Lithuania's regions have been reconstructed — less museum, more time travel, and it's genuinely lovely on a summer afternoon. And if you want something truly obscure: the Europos Parkas sculpture park sits at the geographic centre of Europe (they have the certificate to prove it) and is filled with large-scale contemporary art half-swallowed by forest. Strange, beautiful, and almost entirely crowd-free.
